Caroline Crabbs Rubenstein,

What a great pic. Reminds me of Interlochen in Switzerland.

Hi Paul,   It's actually the Dolomites in Italy.  Probably Cortina.

I would have voted for Gruendelwald, Switzerland (base of the Eiger).

Bruce,

Yeah, Interlaken is also at the base of the Eiger. Wetook the cog railway to the top of the Jungfrau. Very strange up there. There is a visitor center, sled dog rides, and a rope pull for short skiing runs. The sky is definitely a darker color and it's a bit harder to breathe - letting you know how thin the atmosphere is.

Hi ALL !    Saturday, noon:

This has turned into a fantastic weekend.  I recognize names, but not the faces.  After 50 years we all must look like our parents.

The meet and greet Friday night went longer then the scheduled 3 hours.  The last bunch of '65 partying diehards left the Winking Lizard Tavern well afer midnight......   Only two events left, LOOK OUT Painesville !

Bruce,
I was a couple of towns off. You were correct about the town at the base of the Eiger. My little town was at the base of the Jungfrau - 4,158 metres (13,642 ft). Both of these peaks are in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland.
